Dear Member,

I am sorry to inform you that we have, in agreement with Kaziranga University (KU), cancelled the proposed AFGB Conference at KU. This is because we have received two email threats originating from London. The first IP address has been tracked to Harlesden area of London NW10; and the second email to Ealing, London W3 6UW. The purpose obviously was to scupper the conference.  It is now a Police matter. The emails came from somebody who knows our activities well who threw abusive insults, and pours pent-up bile and hatred specially on me. We are looking into the possibility if we can put together a conference in London at a relatively short notice. We will update you as soon as we are able to put together the event.

Best wishes, Jiten Borkakoti Chairman, Assam Forum GB
